Student opportunities and activities

At Campbelltown Public School, we offer a variety of programs in the classroom and across the school to help students build new skills, make friends and explore new interests.

Our extra-curricular highlights

CPS Films - Term 2 and 3

Students in Years 3 to 6 are exposed to the world of film making. Students take on an active role as writers, directors, film technicians, actors and editors to produce a film for the Arts Alive and Farm On competition.

Chess Team - Friday Lunch Time

Catered for Year 2 and above, our chess team operates every Friday at lunch time in the library. Come along and play a game of chess.

Radio Group

Working with the local radio station, students learn how to produce and broadcast a real radio show! We have students presenting two or three times a week including special events.

Green Team

Our Green Team make sure our school and playground are nice and clean for all to enjoy. Along with ensure a safe green school, our team learn about the importance of sustainability and participate in additional projects.

Lego Group

Our Lego group operated Monday (K-2) and Tuesday (3-6) for students looking to have a relaxing lunch and build.

Student Representative Council (SRC)

Our Student Representative Council supports student develop and welfare within the classroom. Students are elected by there peers to be part of the SRC and meet regularly to discuss things of importance.

3D Design Group

Students learn the basics of 3D design and how it is implemented in the modern world. Students use state of the art programs and machinery to design, create and print!
